The Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa and the Ambassador of Suriname, Prof. Dr Wilfried Ramon Roseval will sign a Bilateral Cultural agreement between South Africa and Suriname. The occasion will take place on Tuesday, 25 November 2014, at the National Library in Pretoria.

The Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr. Nathi Mthethwa will convene a special colloquium with over 800 youths from various campuses in Gauteng on the role of the youth in promoting the legacy of late former President Nelson Mandela.
The theme of the event is “Youth of South Africa – Our Time is Now” and will take place at the ZK Matthews Auditorium at the University of South Africa (UNISA) campus on Tuesday, 18 November 2014 from 6pm.

Arts and Culture Minister, Mr Nathi Mthethwa will deliver a keynote address at the 3rd Africa Century International African Writers Conference to be held on Friday, 07 November 2014 at the National Library in Pretoria. The event will start at 09h00. The Conference will be held under theme, “Governance in Africa: Her Prospects and Retrospects-How the Past Speaks to the Future”.
The Minister of Arts & Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa will lead the 50th anniversary commemoration of the brutal hanging of Umkhonto We Sizwe commander, Vuyisile Mini.
This will be held at the Kgosimampuru Correctional Service on Thursday, 6 November from 05h30 am.
Minister Mthethwa said the event was part of the celebrations of 20 years of freedom.
