Financial Management is the custodian of the Public Financial Management Act in the Department. Ensures
that transparency, accountability and efficiency are taken into account in all financial transactions conducted
by the Department.
Functions and Activities
• Compliance with PFMA requirements.
• Introducing accrual accounting and reporting.
• Training for staff.
• Ensure that there is synergy, coordination and liaison among programmers to effectively manage budgets.
• Maintain the new standard chart of accounts.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of professional ethics.
