Purpose

To promote integrative governance in DAC for the attainment of SA government and DAC goals while using the public resources effectively.

The vision of the Coordination Unit is:
"An integrative governance system for greater impact in the Arts and Culture Sector."

Functions and Activities
• Policy Management which includes development, monitoring and evaluation as well as research management.
• Strategic management including integrated planning, organizational performance management and strategic support to MinMEC/TIC and DAC management structures.
• Broad Government Programme of Action alignment including strategic participation and management of Cluster activities.
