The National Language Service (NLS) is a Chief Directorate within the Department of Arts and Culture (DAC) with the broad task of meeting the constitutional obligations on multilingualism by managing language diversity through language planning, human language technologies and terminology projects, and providing a translation and editing service in the official languages and foreign languages.
