Minister Nathi Mthethwa briefs media on solidarity support towards victims of Cyclone Idai, 16 Apr

Members of the press are hereby advised and invited to a briefing by Minister Nathi Mthethwa alongside prominent African Artists on Tuesday, 16 April 2019, where he will be announcing the implementation of various programmes by the creative industries in response to, and in support for the victims of Cyclone Idai.

The briefing also aims to pronounce camaraderie in support towards the three affected countries and make a call on all the South Africans, corporations, NGOs and individuals who have not responded, to those who have and are still responding, to the call for humanitarian assistance for victims affected by Cyclone Idai in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe to continue with the spirit of “Ubuntu”.

During this briefing, the Minister will highlight on the plan to express the sector’s support in aid of Cyclone Idai's battering ramifications.
