Members of the media are advised that the memorial service of South Africa’s legendary musical icon, Miriam Makeba will take place tomorrow.  “The passing of this outstanding African performer is a great loss to South African music and the cultural life of our country. Miriam Makeba was, essentially an African creative who won a place in the global cultural village, thanks to her talent and magnificent voice’’, Minister Jordan said. The memorial service will take place as follows:
