The President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Jacob Zuma will deliver a keynote address at the national Heritage Day celebrations to be held at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban on 24 September 2010. This year’s Heritage Day will take place under the theme: Celebrating 2010 Fifa Soccer World Cup successes: our heritage.
In addition to President Zuma’s address, the programme features performances by some of the prominent South African artists. These artists are Debra Fraser, Theo Kgosinkwe and SA United. SA United is a first collaboration of its kind featuring famous artists such Danny Koppel, Steve Hofmeyer, Chomee, Abigail Khubeka and PJ Powers. In the spirit of celebrating 2010 fifa soccer World Cup successes, there will be an interfaith prayer by leaders of different religious groups.
