Minister of Arts and Culture, Dr. Z. Pallo Jordan will be signing a Programme of Cultural Cooperation with his counter-part from Mauritius, Minister M. Gowresso for the two countries to collaborate with each other for years 2007 – 2009.

“This will mark a significant achievement in the effort to bring the creative intellectuals of the two countries together,” said Minister Jordan.

The Cultural Cooperation would include training programmes, exchanges of experts for study visits, workshops, literary events, heritage management and archaelogy amongst other areas.
