CELEBRATING OUR HERITAGE
Viewing of the exhibition
On 24 September 2011 the Department of Arts and Culture and the Mpumalanga Provincial Government hosted the 2011 National Heritage Day Celebrations. The theme for the celebrations was: Celebrating the heroes and heroines of the Liberation Struggle in South Africa. The day was marked by cultural performances and a cultural parade as well as Acting President, Mr Kgalema Motlanthe's keynote address.
