Minister Nathi Mthethwa joins the SA Rugby community in mourning the passing of Rugby Commentator and former SA School Captain Kaunda Ntunja

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture learned with shock of the passing of one of the most respected South African rugby commentators, Kaunda Ntunja, who passed away yesterday morning.
Ntunja, who hails from the Eastern Cape, was extremely instrumental in broadcasting professional rugby using the IsiXhosa language.
“The passing of Kaunda Ntunja has left an indomitable void which will be difficult to replace, especially with reference to his energy when giving rugby commentary in isiXhosa. In my eyes, he goes down as one of the best sport anchors to have graced our living rooms.
My heartfelt condolences to the Ntunja Family, Super Sport and all his acquaintances. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
AKWEHLANGA, LUNGEHLANGA!
